The children of Gateway Mercy Orphanage live in a mosquito- invested swamp in the slums of Kampala. It is not only a medical hazard, but the home is severely overcrowded. To attend to this immediate need, 2.5 acres of land has been donated to build a model community Centre, school, and Children’s Home. The school will integrate age?appropriate vocational skills development with regular academics. It will purposefully help the children discover and develop their self-confidence, passions, leadership skills, and a positive work ethic.

Promise International currently supports 414 children in four facilities in Uganda - Gateway Mercy Ministries, Bweya Children’s Home, and Nabagesera Home, Kihonge Community Development Centre. With your monthly donations, we have the opportunity to provide Medical aid, nets, bedding, private education, books, school supplies, uniforms, and a highly improved, balanced diet to include green vegetables, protein and fruits.
