Event Cancelled

We at Promise International are sincerely disappointed that we must cancel our October 8th concert.  Unfortunately, in our planning we were involved with some individuals who we now know were unreliable.  It recently became clear that the advertising we agreed upon was not being executed.  We will regroup; and still plan to have a benefit concert in the future since much of the preparation has been done.  Both our volunteers and those of Gateway Church–our event host–spent hundreds of hours creating videos, designing graphics/signage, developing the website, and completing several other tasks required to make the event a success.  We thank them for their tireless efforts!  In addition to all the donated design work, we had only spent a few hundred dollars when we realized what needed to be done. Fortunately, the materials had not gone to print. 
Of course, our deepest concern is not for the event’s cancellation, but for the children. They will not get the critical relief we were hoping to provide as a result of the event’s success.  They need your support now, more than ever.  Every single day is critical for the basics of food, clothing, and medicine.  So for now, no music, no fellowship, no great videos showing the Who, What, Where, Why, and How . . . just a prayerful request to search your heart and donate today if possible.  Please know that your individual action will directly and positively impact these children.  Thank you for helping those who, at this time, cannot help themselves.  Please join us in prayer as we move forward and God bless you.
