Kireka School for Children with Special Educational Needs
The Kireka School for Children with Special Educational Needs is located in Kireka, 7.07 miles from Kampala City. The School has been government funded since the 1980s. The different special needs serviced in the school include: Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, Bi-Polar, and more. Currently, the school has over 100 students ranging from 5-35 years old, with limited support from the government. Since 2018, Promise International has been assisting Kireka School by supplementing the feeding program. Currently, we are providing eggs, milk, and beef for weekly nutrition.
We have started a medical clinic that serves the children and the teachers at the school.
We also provide clothing for these little ones.
We are also making considerable structural renovations, as well as painting the old buildings.
Our goal is to construct a school for the kids. The land along the Nile River in the images above is our property, and with your help and God’s providence we will be able to reach our goal.
